Emmy 2026, ecco tutte le nomination 

Sono state annunciate le nomination per la 78ª edizione degli Emmy Awards, i premi più prestigiosi della televisione americana, che verranno assegnati lunedì 14 settembre al Peacock Theater di Los Angeles, in una cerimonia condotta per la prima volta da Mariska Hargitay e trasmessa da NBC e Peacock.

A dominare la scena, per numero di candidature, è The Pitt di HBO Max, che tra i drama conquista 25 nomination, seguita sul fronte comedy da Hacks, sempre HBO Max, arrivata al capolinea con la sua ultima stagione e capace di raccogliere 24 nomination, un record assoluto per una serie comica in una singola annata.

Ottima la prova della new entry horror Widow’s Bay, targata Apple TV+, che si piazza al terzo posto con 19 nomination, davanti alla fantascientifica Pluribus, sempre di casa Apple TV+, con 18. Chiude la top five Beef di Netflix con 16 candidature.

Guardando ai network, HBO Max resta in testa con il maggior numero complessivo di nomination, seguita da Netflix, mentre Apple TV+ centra il proprio record storico di candidature, confermandosi la vera sorpresa di quest’anno. Tra le assenze più rumorose, gli snub a produzioni molto attese come le serie del Dutton Ranch targate Taylor Sheridan e Half Man con Richard Gadd (comunque presente come attore in altra categoria).

Confermano il loro stato di beniamini dell’Academy Slow Horses, con un sempre solido Gary Oldman, The Bear ed Euphoria, che con Zendaya punta al terzo Emmy dopo i due già vinti dall’attrice. Tra le novità più lanciate ci sono A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms (candidata come drama), Margo’s Got Money Troubles (candidata come comedy, con Elle Fanning, Nick Offerman e Michelle Pfeiffer) e la già citata Widow’s Bay, con Matthew Rhys protagonista al fianco di Dale Dickey, Kate O’Flynn e Stephen Root.

Da segnalare, dopo dieci anni di assenza dalle nomination, il ritorno in gara di Dancing with the Stars, il “Ballando con le stelle” americano, tra i programmi di reality competition. A seguire, l’elenco completo dei candidati.
