|Amazon Studios ha creato una nuova posizione ad hoc proprio per Odetta Watkins, appena assunta come Head of Drama Series. Nel suo nuovo ruolo, Watkins riporterà direttamente a Laura Lancaster, Head of Series di Amazon Studios, e contribuirà a sviluppare serie come Jack Ryan, The Wilds e Hunters. In precedenza Watkins ha lavorato in Warner Bros. Television come executive vice president of current programs, cable & streaming. Ha lavorato anche per shows come The Flight Attendant per HBO Max, Ted Lasso per Apple, Queen Sugar, Cherish the Day e David Makes Man per OWN, e Sandman e Sweet Tooth per Netflix.
